Where It All Began
My husband and I met in 2018, when we both worked at a grocery store. He was in the meat department, and I was in seafood, so you could say it was a little surf-and-turf situation!
We quickly fell in love, and in 2022, we moved in together. Since then, we’ve built a home filled with plants, growing our collection to over 150 plant babies. Our home has become a little green sanctuary, and nature has always been a huge part of who I am.
A Ring Inspired by Nature
When we started talking about marriage, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted an engagement ring that reflected my love for nature. It was so important to me that my ring felt personal, meaningful, and connected to something I had always loved.
I spent hours browsing Pinterest for inspiration before discovering Moss Agate rings. I was instantly drawn to their natural patterns, each one with its own unique character, almost like a tiny landscape captured in a stone. I fell in love and started sending him photos of the styles I loved.

A Secret Growing in the Backyard
But the ring wasn't the only surprise he had planned.
While I was dreaming about my future engagement ring, he was secretly building a greenhouse in our backyard! To keep it hidden, he tucked the greenhouse inside our gazebo and kept the curtains closed.
We had been experiencing some pretty bad storms and strong winds, so I didn't think twice about the curtains being closed. I had absolutely no idea what he was up to!
He knew how much I loved visiting greenhouses and how deeply connected I was to plants and nature. He wanted to create something that felt uniquely us, turning one of my favorite things into the setting for one of the most important moments of our lives.
On November 29, 2025, my best friend surprised me by proposing in our very own greenhouse. He had invited our family and transformed the entire space into a winter wonderland.
Walking into a space he had secretly built just for me, surrounded by the people we love, was something I could never have imagined. It was thoughtful, personal, and more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed of.
It was the BEST SURPRISE EVER!
A Little Piece of Nature, A Forever Kind of Love
Looking back, it feels so special that nature was woven into every part of our story, from the plants that fill our home to the greenhouse he built with so much love, and the Moss Agate ring he chose just for me.
